Walk Against Rape is a 3.5 mile march on April 30, 2011. It is an empowering opportunity to raise awareness on the epidemic issue of Sexual Violence in our community!
You may register as an individual walker, or create a team of walkers. There is no fee to register, but we encourage everyone to raise funds. Last year, the average fundraising walker raised $246! We had Individuals who raised up to $1745 and Teams were able to raise up to $3880! Any amount you raise is greatly needed and appreciated. Fundraising on line is easy, fun and green! Create your on page by registering here!
San Francisco Women Against Rape provides resources, support, advocacy and education to strengthen the work of all individuals and communities that are responding to, healing from, and struggling to end sexual violence. At SFWAR, we believe that no single individual, organization, foundation, or business alone can stop the epidemic of sexual assault, but by responding as a whole community, we each bring our piece of the solution.
Thank you for your interest in Walk Against Rape. We urge you to take this important step in the fight against Rape by registering for the Walk Against Rape. The funds you raise will go toward providing direct services to survivors of sexual assault in San Francisco and beyond.
