Equity-Driven Pathways to Healthy Families and Community

Join us for an evening of film, dialogue and healing-based solution-seeking when we screen an excerpt from The Waiting List documentary film, directed by Bay Area filmmaker Tamara Perkins. The film addresses the gender, race and class bias impacting our current childcare and early education system.

Following the screening, our partners at Race Forward will lead Racial Healing Circle connected to supporting and building equitable pathways to healthy families and community.

In closing we will share and capture solutions and connect community members with both resources and ways to get involved in community and advocacy efforts in the Bay Area and beyond.

Special thanks to community partners Indigo ImpactCode TenderloinSelf-Awareness and Recovery, and Race Forward for their support and involvement in this series of events.
