In 2006, a group of interested students at the School of Social Welfare at UC Berkeley worked together to plan a day that celebrates the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr. and his fight for a more just world by highlighting some of the social justice issues frequently dealt with in this line of work and how to address them.

Their efforts resulted in the Social Justice Symposium (SJS), a full day of empowering workshops, inspirational keynote speakers and over 300 people coming together all in the name of social justice.
Don’t miss out on this exciting and free event!

Please register at http://socialwelfare.berkeley.edu/sjs in order to guarantee yourself a lunch.
