WHAT: Application for the 2017 Youth Empowerment Fund Youth Giving Project

Qualifications: Be a young person in high school (preferably Freshman or Sophomore), Live in or go to school in San Francisco, Be committed to making a positive change for youth in SF.
Responsibilities: Attend weekly meetings Mondays & Wednesdays, April – July, Fund and support Youthled projects, Facilitate peer workshops, Plan events. You Will: support youth-led change, Receive a monthly stipend, Make new friends and connections from all over SF, Learn first-hand about philanthropy, Explore San Francisco through field trips, conferences, and events. Youth Giving Project is YEF’s leadership development program open to all San Francisco teens who want to make change in their communities. YEF is an initiative of The Youth Empowerment Fund run in partnership with Urban Services YMCA of San Francisco. YEF runs programs and creates opportunities which empower San Francisco’s young people to be city-wide change-makers.
