Understanding the Realities of African American Families: The Danger of a Single Story

750 25th St. SF, Multipurpose Room

Join the Office of Family and Community Partners, AAPAC Parents and Community Partners for a special look at the African American experience in SF and within SFUSD. Resources and a special lunch will be provided. This event is open to all. Please register here.

Although we celebrate Black History 365 days a year, February, the official month dedicated to the honoring of the contributions of Black and African Americans, is quickly approaching. The AAPACAdvisory Team urges you to work with your school sites to ensure that celebrations are being planned and evidence of these celebrations are visible and well executed. Additionally, we encourage you to continue exposing your children and family members to our rich history and those who contribute to it both past and present.
