AAPAC Monthly Meeting: Healthy Living for Healthy Black Families

1520 Oakdale Avenue SF, CA

Join the African American Parent Advisory Council of SF for our monthly general assembly in the Leola Havard Auditorium, located at 1520 Oakdale beginning at 5:30 pm. We know that part of preparing our children for academic success is ensuring that their bodies and minds reflect healthy habits. Come prepared to receive tips on healthy living specific to Black Families, learn more about supports in our district and identify needed supports to advocate for.  There will also be Zumba, so get ready to move your body! Childcare, Dinner and Prizes will be provided.

REMINDER:

Although we celebrate Black History 365 days a year, February, the official month dedicated to the honoring of the contributions of Black and African Americans, is quickly approaching. The AAPACAdvisory Team urges you to work with your school sites to ensure that celebrations are being planned and evidence of these celebrations are visible and well executed. Additionally, we encourage you to continue exposing your children and family members to our rich history and those who contribute to it both past and present.
