Dear Community:

The San Francisco Human Rights Commission, in partnership with the Black to the Future collaborative and the University of San Francisco, will host From Resolution to Revolution: An Equity Summit, an opportunity to recognize movement from words to action. Legislation often offers only a guideline of how the system should work to create equity and opportunity for all; implementation does not always follow. The Summit will highlight the push by educators, community leaders, and students to “make it happen.” Please join youth, educators, business leaders, and community stakeholdersFebruary 6 & 7, 2017, as we learn and commit to move from Resolution to Revolution.

As we build out the Summit agenda, we would love to partner with you.The Human Rights Commission is seeking volunteers to help realize the ambitious agenda already in place, including ushers, greeters, and people to help register participants, keep time for panels, hand out flyers, conduct outreach, and do what needs to be done to ensure the community is involved in a successful event.

If you would like to participate in the Equity Summit as a volunteer, please send me an email or give me a call.

We hope to move this vital work forward with you!

Warmest regards,

Veronica Garcia
