You’ll learn directly from Teaching Tolerance about Perspectives for a Diverse America—our literacy-based, social justice curriculum—and explore the resources available at the Museum of Tolerance. Both the curriculum and the workshop are FREE!

Participants will discover how Perspectives supports rigor, relevance and cultural competency and aligns with the Common Core State Standards. The workshop will also address how to integrate the Teaching Tolerance Social Justice Standards  into existing classroom and school-climate materials. Other benefits include a free resource kit featuring readings, instructional strategies, classroom-appropriate films and more.

Don’t miss this opportunity to join over 40,000 educators nationwide who are using Perspectives to meet their students’ academic and social emotional needs.

Another option for educators who want to participate in the trainings the Museum of Tolerance & Tools for Tolerance for Educators offers is to sign-up for a group customized training. Amazing – I know! Below is the link to the webpage with more info about these programs:

The same guidelines apply: through a grant the museum has access to, there is no cost to you/your school/your organization – they cover flight/hotel/lunch. The same general structure as open enrollment trainings, but you can customize the program’s schedule – in sharing what specific goals and needs the group has. Then, the program can choose the most appropriate consultants, presenters, and tours for the group.

Leah Paz, Program Coordinator, would be happy to chat about this with you further, if you have more in-depth questions! You can email her at, or call her at (310) 772-7610, if you like.
