The USF Center for Research, Artistic, and Scholarly Excellence

would like to invite you to an event that might be interesting to the students, faculty, staff, and community members affiliated with the McCarthy Center. The event, Beyond the Headlines: An In-Depth Conversation about the 2016 Presidential Election, will be on Thursday November 3rd 3-4:30pm in the Gleeson Library Atrium.

 

During this event Dean Elizabeth Davis, Professor James Taylor in the Department of Politics, Dean John Trasviña, and San Francisco Republican Chairman Jason Clark will be introduced by University of San Francisco President Father Paul Fitzgerald and then discuss challenges facing the United States, the changing electorate, and candidates’ national strategy and global leadership skills. The event will be moderated by Judy Campbell, producer for KQED Forum. There will be time for a Q&A followed by a reception with wine and appetizers.

 

The event will be sponsored by the McCarthy Center, President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women, Gleeson Library and the School of Management.
