Developing Meaningful and Engaging Curriculum

Date: Friday, October 7, 2016

Time: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Location:  Fox Plaza, 1390 Market Street – 9th Floor – Suite 910 San Francisco, CA, United States

“The teacher is of course an artist, but being an artist does not mean that he or she can make the profile, can shape the students. What the educator does in teaching is to make it possible for the students to become themselves.” ~Paolo Friere

If the goal is a better world, then we must move toward that goal vigilantly. We need programs that transform and liberate. We need lessons and activities that open minds and challenge assumptions to create social change. How do we design curriculum that will capture their imaginations and make them question the world’s conditions? In this creative work experience you will be lead through a tried and true process and receive tools for planning curriculum that will not only engage your students but will also develop their skills and their socio-emotional literacy.

This Training is Ideal For: All levels welcome.
