On Monday, August 15th I will be facilitating a panel discussion and reception hosted by the distinguished Commonwealth Club of California at the Swedish American Hall. It will feature 4 brilliant, women of color leaders in the Good Food movement, including:

Brittni Chicuata (Government Relations Director, American Heart Association | American Stroke Association)
Dominica Rice (Chef/Owner, Cosecha Oakland),
Joann Lo (Executive Director, Food Chain Workers Alliance)
Kristyn Leach (Organic Farmer, Namu Gaji)

We’ll discuss tackling equity in our food system and what big solutions are already offered by WOC. There will be lovely reception to follow, with wine and delicious seasonally-inspired bites prepared by Bi-Rite Market and CUESA & The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Media support provided by Civil Eats. Space generously provided by Ne Timeas Restaurant Group.
