Dear Community:

The San Francisco Human Rights Commission (HRC) is currently accepting 2016 Hero Awards applications/nominations in honor of Communities Organizing for Justice.  This year, just like in years past, the HRC will be acknowledging unsung heroes in San Francisco—whether they are students, individuals or organizations.  Former recipients include White Coats for Black LivesThe Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, Dr. Clarence B. Jones, Linda Evans, and a number of other change makers.

Please consider nominating an individual, organization or student you consider an unsung hero of San Francisco.  The deadline to submit a nomination/application is July 1st at 5PM.  For your reference, I’ve attached the nomination forms and flyer to this email.  More information can also be found here: http://sf-hrc.org/2016-hero-awards-nominations-now-being-accepted.  If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Thank you!

Warm regards,

Veronica
