The Leo T. McCarthy Center
invites you to join us for a full-day workshop with Dr. Randy Stoecker, professor of sociology at University of Wisconsin, Madison and a leader in the field of community-engaged research. Dr. Stoecker employs a critical framework in his community engagement work, and will facilitate dynamic, provocative, interactive sessions to help USF faculty and community partners integrate critical community engagement into their scholarship and teaching. Dr. Stoecker is also the author of Research Methods for Community Change
, which was the focus of a faculty and community partner reading group through the Leo T. McCarthy Center a few years ago.
