The City of Oakland is currently recruiting to fill a Grants Coordinator vacancy within the Oakland Police Department.

This is a professional, advanced journey level classification, responsible for performing broad range of grants coordination duties including the identification of outside grant opportunities; communication of identified grant opportunities and key requirements to management; maintenance of a grants and donations tracking system; coordination with agencies and/or departments regarding grant application, awards and spending; apply for grant awards; preparation of accounting, statistical, and narrative reports on grants and donations; preparation and delivery of presentations to management and the City Council; applying for grant awards; and performs related duties as assigned.

The eligibility list established from this recruitment may be used to fill other vacancies that may occur within The City including full-time and permanent part-time positions.
