Project Pull, sponsored by the City and County of San Francisco, provides professional mentorship to motivated high school students from all communities in San Francisco. During the eight-week program our interns explore careers with employees from departments all over the City, including the SFPUC. Interns participate in a variety of assignments such as administering surveys, assisting regular office work, performing research for projects, as well as developing our presence on social media. The goal of Project Pull is to expose students to a work environment that encourages personal growth, and to draw young citizens to the public sector and the workforce of the City and County of San Francisco.

Eligibility:

  • Resident of San Francisco or attend school in San Francisco
  • Students entering junior or senior year in high school or incoming college freshman
  • Students with a 2.75 GPA from last completed semester — Fall 2015
  • Able to commit to twenty (20) hours a week for eight (8) weeks during the summer session (Early June through early August)
