Assemblymember David Chiu and SFHP (San Francisco Health Plan) are hosting an Enrollment Health Fair this Saturday, January 30th from 10:00 am -5:00 pm at 7 Spring Street between Kearny/Montgomery Street.


This health fair is free of charge and will have Spanish and Cantonese-speaking staff available to assist people looking to qualify for Medi-Cal, Covered California, Cal Fresh, and Healthy San Francisco. There will be free vision screenings for all ages and dental screenings for children 17 and under. Plus, the first 100 families to attend will receive a free bag of groceries.

Please save the date for the first in a series of community workshops to discuss the renovation of the Margaret Hayward Playground!  Our first meeting will introduce the community to the project team and the project’s scope. Most importantly, we want to hear from you – please join us to share your thoughts on how Rec & Park can improve your park.


The meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 5:45 – 7:30, at the African American Art & Culture Complex at 762 Fulton Street.
