Geary BRT Public Comment Opportunity – St. Mary’s Cathedral (1111 Gough St.) – 6:30pm – 8:30pm

The Geary BRT Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (EIS/EIR) is now available and ready for public review. This marks a significant milestone for the project and is the last major step before the San Francisco County Transportation Authority will consider the project for final approval. The Draft EIS/ EIR contains a full analysis of the expected benefits and impacts of the project, and is available for public review and comment until November 16th.

A public comment meeting is scheduled to be held on November 5th at St. Mary’s Cathedral from 6:30-8:30PM. Meeting attendees will have an opportunity to view project information, discuss the project with staff, and provide comments in writing or verbally to a court reporter. We hope you will share details about the upcoming meeting with your membership and neighbors .

Additionally, viewing kiosks have been placed at Geary and 17th and at Geary and Webster to provide visualizations of what Geary Boulevard would look like with BRT (to view them online visit www.gearybrt.org/OWL). To learn more about this project, including where you can view the Draft EIS/EIR document and submit comments, please visit www.gearybrt.org or email gearybrt@sfcta.org.
