The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Advisory Committee (“LGBTAC”) is seeking new members for the Agency’s LGBTQI Community Advisory Committee.

The LGBTAC identifies and addresses the issues and concerns of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and HIV-affected communities in San Francisco and advises the full Commission on policy recommendations aimed at improving the quality of life for these communities.
The LGBTAC is looking for members who are active in the community and who possess demonstrated experience and knowledge in subject matter areas dealing with racism, youth issues, aging, AIDS/HIV, anti-bullying and violence, civil rights, class, disability, women’s rights, gender identity, bisexual visibility, faith-based advocacy, education, intersex and health issues are amongst the variety of advocacy platforms advanced by the committee. Applicants should be residents of San Francisco.

The completed application and corresponding letters must be received or postmarked no later than Friday, November 6, 2015 by 5:00 p.m.
