Please distribute widely.

The SF District Attorney’s office is partnering with SafeStart to help families apply for funds to pay for mental health treatment for children (up to age 18) who have witnessed a violent crime (seen or heard)–up to $5000. Because SafeStart will do the intake interviews with families they can also provide support as well as describe SafeStart and other services that families who have children who have witnessed violence may be interested in and benefit from.

For more information, please contact: Blia Moua, SafeStart Program Manager
