Summer Learning Conference- Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 1187 Franklin Street, 8:30 am-2:00 pm.
This conference is designed for front-line staff, site coordinators, program directors, managers, and district administrators and will provide tools and resources to redefine summer with activities that are meaningful, support mastery and expand horizons. It will host various Bay Area presenters with topics including: Hiring and Management, Summer Culture, Classroom Management, Planning and Reflection, Building Community, Cooperative Learning, and Youth Voice.

“Tickets to the Rock”! – Apply by Friday, February 14th (for fieldtrips March-October) or Friday, May 16th (for fieldtrips June-October)
Are you looking to take your youth on a field trip that’s both educational and fun? Then grab some “Tickets to the Rock”! Tickets are available mid-March through mid-October (Thursday–Monday) to schools and community organizations where 60 percent of youth receive free or reduced lunch or 60 percent of students receive scholarships.
