Hi Non-Profit Partners,

This week at the MatchBridge offices, we have 2 exciting job vacancies that we are advertising to youth!

The first one is an incredible opportunity to be a part of the electrifying fan atmosphere at the AT&T Ballpark. Ghirardelli is now hiring for hot chocolate vendors. This is great experience for youth who are outgoing, dependable and have no physical limitations (it involves carrying up to 50lbs)!

Our second job vacancy is at the Chinese Restaurant, R & G Lounge, in the Financial District/Chinatown. They are currently hiring for a busboy but will have more restaurant positions coming soon. R & G Lounge is an authentic restaurant (must speak Chinese) and was featured on the Travel Channel! Keep checking the website to stay updated on their position openings.

In addition to job vacancies, we are providing youth with the resume tip of the week. This week we are emphasizing the importance of proofreading resumes before sending them. We often receive resumes with poor spelling and punctuation,  as many spelling errors are not caught by spell check (costumer instead of customer). Therefore, we are suggesting that the youth ask a friend, family member or CBO to help proofread their resumes before uploading them.

In addition to our new vacancies, we still have dozens of open positions at www.sfsummerjobs.org. We appreciate the time & energy you put into being an amazing partner. With your support of the Mayor’s SF Summer Jobs+ initiative, we are well on our way to getting 6,000 youth jobs this summer!

Kind Regards,

The MatchBridge Team
