Under general supervision, East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) Customer Services Representatives (CSRs) perform various duties related to servicing customer accounts, including accepting payments, handling collections, starting and stopping service and responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a heavy call volume work environment. CSRs interact directly with customers to process service requests and perform other tasks related to billing, remittance processing, data entry and provide general customer information regarding billing issues and service requests. CSRs must maintain a high productivity level while adhering to quality standards and complex business practices, policies and procedures.
2. Electrical Supervisor – closes Friday, February 8, 2013.
The Electrical Supervisor plans, schedules, assigns, and supervises the work of Electrical Technicians and sub-journey workers engaged in the construction, maintenance and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment, control apparatus and communications systems. These include circuits, motors, transformers, control panels, switches, transmission lines and a wide variety of related equipment common to a water/wastewater utility.
3. Instrument Technician – closes Friday, February 15, 2013.
Instrument Technicians install, inspect, maintain and repair metering and recording instruments, controllers, data logging and display equipment, and communications and telemetering systems in an industrial environment.
4. Principal Management Analyst – closes Friday, February 15, 2013.
The Principal Management Analyst (PMA) provides highly difficult and complex administrative support work within a functional group or directly reporting to a department director. Duties may include conducting budget and financial analyses, performing operational analyses including project management and coordination, providing personnel management assistance and/or supervising assigned staff. The PMA also coordinates assigned activities, projects and other work with staff at all levels of the organization, outside agencies and other contacts.
