A new eligible list will be established to fill Courtroom Clerk I job vacancies at various court locations.
The equivalent to four years of full-time experience as a Legal Processing Assistant with the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda.
An educational level equivalent to a high school diploma or G.E.D.
The equivalent to five years of full-time increasingly responsible clerical experience in a banking, court, legal, medical, probation or social services environment.
Completion of two years of education from an accredited college or university may substitute for two years of the required experience.
Ability to type at a speed of 35 net words per minute from a clear copy. A typing certificate issued between June 16, 2012 and December 28, 2012 must be attached to your application. A valid typing certificate must be issued by an educational institution, public agency or professional service that routinely provides typing verification documentation in their normal course of business. Self-administered, on-line typing certificates will not be accepted and will not be considered valid.
A properly completed supplemental questionnaire must be submitted with your application. The supplemental questionnaire and the application form are used to evaluate your qualifications and must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2012.
