This email comes to you with a GREAT ANNOUNCEMENT! Independent Artist Week is back & once again Marcus Books is opening it’s doors to encourage the inner poet inside us all.  On September 7th at  7:00pm is the Fillmore Art Walk and the oldest and one of the most treasured Black Book Stores in the Nation, Marcus Books will be hosting  WRITER’S BLOCK.  I encourage you to Blast this email and spread the word because this is an opportunity for people to express themselves in a solid and grounded cultural space of words, literature, and appreciation for the Written Word.

May you be an Artist or of the Audience, come Stand Your Ground on the Writer’s Block. You and anyone else is so very welcome to be apart of this evening and know it would be a pleasure to have you.
