Administrative Clerk (hayward / castro valley)

The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (located in Hayward) is currently recruiting for Administrative Clerks. This position primarily performs a wide variety of clerical and administrative work. Tasks include data input, compiling reports, maintaining files and records, providing information and assistance to the general public, answering phones involving multi-line systems and phone console processing mail and preparing a variety of forms, correspondence and documents.

Requires two (2) years of responsible clerical experience including public contact or educational training equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade supplemented by successful completion of specialized clerical training, or some acceptable combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skill and abilities.
