Hello, SF youth providers!
This is a last minute reminder of 2 job opportunities for youth—circulate widely, and make referrals!
New Door Ventures is still seeking 5 youth to employ for its next Ally cohort, which begins July 9! The Ally program offers youth a 3-week pre-employment training, for which they receive a stipend, followed by 18 weeks of paid employment (about 15 hours a week) in a SF business. Youth are required to attend paid weekly skill-building workshops, as well as 1:1 case management to address long-term goals. New Door targets at-risk SF youth ages 17-21 who face obstacles to employment, such as disconnection from education, involvement with public systems (foster care, justice, etc.), experiences of homelessness or substance abuse, and so on.
If you have a youth that would like to apply, please send him/her to one of the next two group interviews: 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 28 and 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 5. Thanks for all you do!

…and don’t miss this!
Please circulate widely. BGCSF is looking to hire 5 teens to join our Health and Outreach Team (HOT). This is a 10 week paid internship. Teens will work 9 hours a week. Approximately 50% of their time will be training and planning and 50% of their time will be in the field either doing research (interviewing people in the community, etc) or outreach. This is an incredible leadership opportunity. Teens do not need to be members of BGCSF to apply.
How to apply:
The teen should take 5 to 10 minutes to fill out the online screener: https://home.eease.adp.com/recruit/?id=1555281
Show up for an open interview on Thursday, June 28th from 10am to 1pm or Monday, July 2nd from 11:30am to 1pm at 55 Hawthorne St. Suite 600. Interviews will be on a first come first serve basis.
Let me know if you send a teen our way.
Thank you, Natasha
