Hello Service-Learning and CBR Colleagues,
This year, Saint Mary’s College is expanding our Social Justice Institute to a two-day event, in part to celebrate the College’s launch of a new graduate concentration in Leadership for Social Justice.
This theme for this year’s Institute is “Thriving at the Intersection of Social Justice, Leadership & Spirituality,” and features Sharon Daloz Parks. Sharon is an acclaimed educator and author of Leadership Can Be Taught: A Bold Approach for a Complex World (2005), Big Questions, Worthy Dreams: Mentoring Emerging Adults in Their Search for Meaning, Purpose, and Faith (Tenth Anniversary Edition, 2011), and Common Fire: Leading Lives of Commitment in a Complex World (2005). A detailed description of the program and Sharon’s biography are attached. Please share. Here are the brief details:
Monday, June 18 & Tuesday, June 19 8:30am to 4pm each day $40 for SMC community & non-profit representatives $75 all others
This is a great professional development, renewal, and networking opportunity for a very affordable price. Please consider joining us!
Thank you, Jennifer
