The San  Francisco Interfaith Council (SFIC) extends a warm invitation to all  clergy to gather at the Lefty O’Doul Bridge (3rd Street/AT&T Park)  on Monday, January 16th at 10:45am. Once the masses traveling on the MLK  Freedom Train, BART/MUNI and ferries gather at the CAL TRAIN TERMINAL  (4th & King Streets), a march to the bridge, remembering Dr. King’s  historic 1965 march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge, will commence. Congregation faithful/organizations are encouraged to participate in the march! Prayers  and readings will be offered at the bridge. Immediately following,  clergy will lead the remainder of the march to the Rev. Dr. Martin  Luther King, Jr. Memorial at Yerba Buena Gardens for the official  Interfaith Service marking the occasion!
