For all the R.C.s who work with children and teens, the attached article is very interesting regarding the importance of physical activity and its impact on learning.  Actually, in general we also know that physical activity in regards to adults and seniors also has a significant influence on cognitive functioning.  The upshot is that moving is important throughout the life span, and we are becoming an increasingly sedentary culture especially with technology (except maybe the Wii).
