TheRAMP-SF Academy at the San Francisco Conservation Corps, would like to share some news…currently, we are looking for a dynamic Life Skills Supervising Instructor!

The Life Skills Supervising Instructor works in close concert with other Ramp Academy Staff to seamlessly develop, monitor, and implement programming for Ramp Academy Participants.TheLife Skills Supervising Instructor is responsible fordelivering and implementing life skills and professional development curriculum in a workshop/classroom setting for Ramp Academy Participants during the 7-week Job Readiness Training (JRT) part of the program. The life skills and professional development curriculum includes but is not limited to classes on stress and anger management, adapting to change, financial literacy, conflict management, healthy social interactions,  job search, resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, job retention, alcohol and drug prevention and other preventive and developmental instruction. The intent of this position is to provide students with the life and workplace skills needed to deal with problems before they worsen and to enhance students’ personal, social, and academic growth through empowerment, motivation, and positive reinforcement. This position also trains and supervises participants when they implement field service projects in collaboration with the National Park Service during one week of the JRT. The Life Skills Supervising Instructor is also responsible for providing follow-up and program assessment services to RAMP graduates during the breaks between 7 week cohorts.
