Join communities across the country in the 8th annual celebration of Summer Learning Day. Summer Learning Day is a project of the National Summer Learning Association, which works to ensure that every child is safe, healthy, and engaged in learning during the summer.

The event is designed to raise awareness about the importance of high-quality summer learning opportunities in the lives of young people and their families. In San Francisco and throughout the nation, summer programs play a critical role in sending young people back to school ready to learn, supporting working families, and keeping children safe and healthy.
