EcoArts Tours presents

Okeanos, the Dance of the Ocean

Friday, April 8, 2011
4 – 6 pm
Mo’ Magic, 1294 Fillmore Street, SF

The Experience:

Covering 99% of Earthʼs living space, the ocean represents the rhythms of life. The ocean is an integral part of our lives in providing us food, the oxygen we breathe, water we drink, and inspiration for countless songs, poems, paintings and dances.

Explore the arts, science and movement of the ocean in this explorative dance workshop. No previous dance experience required.

About the Instructor:

Jodi Lomask is the Artistic Director and Founder of Capacitor, a San Francisco-based interdisciplinary dance company. Capacitor artists collaborate with members of the scientific community to create mind-expanding, heart-gripping live performance. Their latest work, Okeanos, is a collaboration with the California Academy of Sciences and was premiered at TED2009 in Long Beach, California.
