Come learn about the NEW Neighborhood Prosecutor and Community Court Program with

San Francisco District Attorney
George Gascón
and other special guests

Come and learn about the new model, how it will improve our neighborhoods, and how the restorative justice process works. You will also learn how you can become a volunteer community court adjudicator.

When:
Wednesday, April 6, 2011
6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Location:
Southeast Community Facility
1800 Oakdale Avenue
San Francisco, California 94124

DA Gascón is launching a new initiative to quickly resolve low level crimes through community leadership and restorative justice. Low level crimes will be immediately referred to the community court neighborhood panels for non-criminal resolutions that combine accountability with neighborhood improvement. DA Gascón will be joined by Supervisor Malia Cohen. At the meeting, you will learn about the new model, get a chance to dialogue with the DA, and learn how you can volunteer to serve as a community court adjudicator.

Community Court is a program of the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. For additional information or questions, contact Assistant District Attorney Seth Steward at 415.553.1014 or seth.steward@sfgov.org.
