Who will benefit from our training?

Parents/caregivers, parent partners/family partners. This training is designed to promoted increased partnership between family members and treatment providers. The curriculum is designed to inform parents and caregivers about coping with grief regarding the loss of your child’s health, brain development, medications, children’s mental health diagnosis, access to mental health services, special education services, child welfare and probation services. This information allows parents and caregivers to participate in an authentic way with the service providers who are developing treatment plans for their children. At the end of this training you will receive a certificate certifying you as an EES trainer, which will qualify you to facilitate 12-week EES classes for parents/caregivers and family members.

Additionally, participants will learn basic techniques of facilitating their own EES class for parents/caregivers.
