RAMP-SF Academy Orientations for February

The RAMP-SF Academy is actively recruiting 18-24 year olds for their February and April 2011 sessions!

Never heard of RAMP? Here is what we are about:

RAMP-SF is a paid 7-week job readiness training program that includes wrap-around support services, classroom-based learning, hands-on team building, physical exercise, substance abuse and mental health services and a work based learning experience.  Upon successful completion of the program, participants have the potential of being connected to “next step” employment, training, and educational opportunities.

There is no formal referral process. Interested persons just need to attend a RAMP-SF orientation to commence the application process. Below are upcoming orientation dates:

* February 3th –  1449 Webster Street, Western Addition One Stop
* February 10th –  1500 Mission Street, Goodwill One Stop
* February 17th –  3120 Mission Street, Mission One Stop
* February 24th –  73 Leland Avenue, Visitacion Valley One Stop

DO NOTE: All orientations start at 3:00PM SHARP and it is highly advised applicants arrive on time! All persons arriving after the 3:00PM start time will be asked to attend the next available orientation. In addition, applicants will be asked to present their One Stop cards. If they do not have a One Stop card, they should arrive at least 15-20 minutes BEFORE the orientation start time to apply for one…
